Orange is the New Black ‘s first season was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series , meanwhile the second received a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series . Orange is the New Black earned nominations for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series , for the episodes “I Was not Ready” and ” Lesbian Request Denied “, respectively. Tina Fey ‘s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was also nominated for her first two seasons. At the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards , Master of None earned a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. The documentary film The Square won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming in 2014.
